Pushing Mercy Thompson in Honor of Silver Borne

March 30th 2010

I can not even force you to comprehend how exited I am for this book to come out this month. Mercy Thompson might possibly be the greatest character on the planet. I mean she is up there for me I mean she is chilling on top of my list with Ponyboy and Elizabeth Bennett if that is believable. I just LOVE the entire series Adam Hauptman, Sam, a personal favorite of mine Ben something has to happen with the British werewolf. Ok so if you have no idea what I'm talking about GO now buy a copy of Moon Called only if you want to be exposed to the most incredible Urban Fantasy tale of all time ;) ok so maybe I'm a pusher sue me.

Happy New Year Best of 09 Books and Movies

I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year. I am hoping for a positive 2010 full of lots of wonderful books.

Some of my favorite stuff in 09 enjoy :)

Books

I read the entire Mercy series and Sookie series but these two were my faves.

I love the entire Mortal Instruments series but City of Ashes was my favorite.
I love Jeri Smith Ready's series about vampire DJs the music alone is enough for me.

I recommend both the Abra Barrow books by Alisa and the entire Black Dagger Brotherhood series to anyone with eyeballs.

I read all the Kate Daniels books this year but this one was my fave and everyone loved Beautiful Creatures.

I love Richelle Mead and think I will enjoy every book she writes and Shiver incredible.

Total in 09- 54 books kind of low :(

Best movies in 09
Some of them I just saw in the year 09 so for me they count as 09 movies :)

In 2010 I hope to read way more than 54 books and to do some other productive stuff as well.

Happy New Year readers.

Movie Cast Monday (1)

New to the Movie Cast Monday, thanks for hosting it Natalie

My first movie cast Monday thingy will be The Mercy Thompson series since my friend Jessica and I spent a solid hour trying to cast it once.

For those of you who haven't read Mercy
Courtesy of Goodreads...
Mercy Thompson's life is not exactly normal. Her next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And she's fixing a VW bus for a vampire. But then, Mercy isn't exactly normal herself.

Lynn Collins as Mercy Thomspon. She was Silver Fox in X-Men origins. I think she looks like her and I thought she did a great job in X-Men I really love her hair and it just reminds me of Mercy when I look at it.

Gerard Butler for Adam Hauptman its simple he is just who I pictured when I read the books I can't help it.

Noah Wyle as Sam  because he just reminds me of Sam he can even play a doctor. I know he can act and he just seems to fit the part perfect.

I can only do three because this is actually proving to be difficult lol.
