March 30th 2010

I can not even force you to comprehend how exited I am for this book to come out this month. Mercy Thompson might possibly be the greatest character on the planet. I mean she is up there for me I mean she is chilling on top of my list with Ponyboy and Elizabeth Bennett if that is believable. I just LOVE the entire series Adam Hauptman, Sam, a personal favorite of mine Ben something has to happen with the British werewolf. Ok so if you have no idea what I'm talking about GO now buy a copy of Moon Called only if you want to be exposed to the most incredible Urban Fantasy tale of all time ;) ok so maybe I'm a pusher sue me.

Spider's Bite

Author:Jennifer Estep

"My name is Gin, and I kill people."

Spider's Bite is action packed, and it really gets your adrenalin pumping. Gin is a major kick-butt heroine. She is fierce and full of attitude. She is a stone elemental, meaning she can manipulate stone to do as she pleases, and turn her skin into a hard defense. She also is an ice elemental but that power is secondary. She is an assassin, and a pretty good one. She lives in Ashland and works for her mentor/boss Fletcher. He owns the Pork Pit. He also gets her the assassin jobs he is the go between. You learn other people have elemental powers such as, fire, air, and others. You also learn Gin isn't the only assassin roaming the streets of Ashland. Gin's plans quickly take a turn for the worst. She finds herself involved with Donavon Caine an honorable rule following detective. Ashland has some pretty powerful villains such as Mabs Monroe who is kind of like a mob boss. She is a powerful fire elemental who runs Ashland.I love the idea of a female mob boss this book shows how awesome girls can be. This book is a thrilling read with lots of action, and suspense. Its the perfect Urban Fantasy tale.

I got this book from Pocket Books.
