Nursing school has not been quite as hard as I imagined. I'm stuck taking a class on old English literature, and I'm not a fan... I think I will like it better once we get to Shakespeare.. My Anatomy class is kind of hard but only one day a week, today I start Psychology so I have no idea how hard it is yet, I do know that it lasts like 4 hours though. I think I can probably squeeze a few reviews in every now and again. I have been reading though, so I have books to review. I think I'll start with Hourglass by Myra McEntire
What initially made me want to read Hourglass was the cover. I just really enjoy it, it's very different at least I think so, also I follow Myra on Twitter & she seems really sweet & funny. I read the synopsis & decided it was a sure thing. Emerson was for me engaging right from the start. Her personality was vibrant, she reminded me at times of myself.. I already knew what she looked like due to some good fan art, so getting to know her was fun. Michael was secondary for me, I liked him but I was locked in on Emerson's story. They both are special though not in a typical way, I liked that. The characters all felt perfectly constructed, the plot was stellar. I myself compared it to Inception in some ways. However it was a very fresh Paranormal YA. I think the best authors can take something normal like a love triangle & turn it in to something more, Myra did that :)
