Social networks are good and bad. I can't say that they are one way or the other. They are great ways of connecting with people, especially people who don't live near you.

Social networks can also cause some pretty stupid problems. For example people getting pissed because you aren't they're friend on facebook or you said something in a comment that pissed them off.

So, I'm on the fence about social networking in general.

As for myself - I love social networks (especially twitter), they're addicting and a lot of fun.

I think that social networking is a great thing...It's a great way to keep in touch with people that you don't want to lose contact with. I worry about social networking when it gets out of hand as far as bullying and such. I think that some people say things online that they wouldn't if the person were right in front of them.

So, like your first commenter, I'm on the fence. But it's here to stay, so we need to find ways to educate kids about respectful use of social networking.

Don't enter me. I read The Duff recently and it's amazing.

I think social networking is great. I get to connect with editors, agents, readers, writers, publicists, all types of people in publishing.

Social networks are like eating chocolate. Self-indulgent, slightly sinful and only good in limited quantities.

I think social networking is great. As with every good thing, though, it can be used for bad things. I just choose to be smart about how I use it.

I love social networking. I have met so many people and reconnected with others that I lost contact with. I think that you need to be careful with how you use it, but overall it is a good thing.

Follower of both blogs.
