Forget You:Review

Zoey is a perfectionist and Doug is a troubled scary boy. They have never really liked each other since Doug returned from juvie. They were alright until he left, then when he came back they were always at odds. Then after a strange car accident Zoey can't remember, Doug is acting sweet. Will Zoey piece back together her life or will Doug forever be a strange mystery.

I at first was frustrated with this book, I got extremely emotionally invested in the characters. I felt like they were real people, and this led me to critisize their actions and thoughts. I will give it up to the writing though it was excellent but I love Jennifer Echols, so I knew I would like it. Zoey and Doug have a strange relationship, but you can see they are perfect for each other, but then they both jeopardize everything, and it angers you as a reader. That I guess is just good storytelling. I was more attached to Doug than I was to Zoey, Zoey left me disgusted, and I wanted to nudge her in the right direction. Doug also made some horrible mistakes that made me want to scream. The plot was captivating, and the characters strong. For me its all about the characters, so I was pleased with them. I certainly reccomend this one, I even re-wrote my review because I couldn't stop thinking about the book several days after I'd read it.

I recently ordered this one because I can't find it in my local bookstores. I'm looking forward to reading it even though it sounds like it kind of drove you crazy! LOL!

I know how it is to be frustrated by the characters and actions in a book, the good kind of frustrated when the writing is so good that I'm involved in the conflict.
