Howling At The Moon

Howling at the Moon (Tales of an Urban Werewolf, #1)

Howling At The Moon was a random series I started. I simply typed Werewolf Urban Fantasy into Google. I picked this book up, just for a fun read. I had it sitting around my house collecting dust. I hate it when I do that, it makes me look around at books collecting dust, am I wasting awesome books. The answer is yes. Sophie Garou is a werewolf, but she is also a normal everyday auditor. Her mother is a kooky gypsy witch who causes her major migraines, and her boyfriend is dreamy. Until one day all this comes crashing down on her, and life gets a little more interesting, if thats possible.

I liked Sophie Garou's story, she was a fun MC to follow. Her spastic train of thought had me laughing at every turn. Her boyfriend was sweet and likable, and her best friend Lindsay was what a best friend should be. Her crazy gypsy mother, was constantly making me *slap hand to forehead* I felt bad for Sophie several times. The interwoven mystery of the story was enough to make my brain work, and the romance was enough to make me swoon. It really evened out rather nicely in the end. Tom the motorcycle driving dark horse had me torn, and that is ALWAYS a must for me. There has to be two love interests for me to be 100% on board, most of the time. This was a worthwhile read, and the ending however made me go what? I turned the page just make sure I was actually reading the ending though. I am going to buy the second book eventually. I recommend it of course.
