As of right now I just want to know who I can and can not trust. I feel so bad for Dru every single person she comes in contact with is a liar in some way. Even her most trusted friends Graves, Christophe, Dylan..need I name more they all lie. The key lies within her being able to recall her past. If she can just remember the night of her mothers murder then she will know for certain who is lying and who is telling the truth. Her being so powerful herself everyone should want to protect her, but I get the feeling that isn't everyones goal. Someone is lying someone is playing some kind of sick game..and no you don't even find out who it is at least I think now I was so confused by the end of this book. I liked it the story was strong but this web of lies certainly entangled me to no end. I mean even the crazy rabid dog wolf thing Ash isn't evil. Christophe is a sneaky guy himself. I sometimes wonder if the only interest he has in Dru is the fact that she is her mother's daughter. Graves he made me mad A LOT in this book. The dorky Graves I came to love in the first book turned into a cocky little Graves with lots of new friends at his new wulfen school. Right now I don't trust anyone none of them I don't care if they profess love for Dru, or claim she is the only thing keeping them from being a psychotic murder...they all seem like creepers to me. The one female in the mix is even more crazy and weird than the slew of men in her life she is one unlucky girl. She is tossed into this school because Chrsitophe claims she will be safe..first off I have no idea why we are trusting Christophe. Even if he did save you ok he saved you he is still a creepy really old djhampir thing. Then Graves he is nice but now he ignores you all the time Dru. I just can't trust any of them then Dylan that boy is even more creepy than Christophe. I would flip my lid if I were Dru. I mean each guy has some trait that leads you to trust him but they all then do something sneaky or mean. I was about ready to pull my hair out with all the lies. I just want to know so badly who killed Dru's mom why they killed Dru's mom..why Dru's mom left Christophe in the dust and Dylan to marry a normal marine...why OH MY GOD to many questions. I mean really Christophe must have had to do something and Dylan as well. If they both loved Dru's mom but then she married the marine. Now why is she dead..its all a mystery. I really need the third book to come out now, but I will have a cow if that book fails to answer my questions and just leaves me with more..I have Richelle Mead and her Vampire Academy for that one.
