Evermore

Evermore (The Immortals, #1)
Description Courtesy of Goodreads
Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people’s thoughts, and know a person’s life story by touch.   Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste…
Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition.  He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets.  Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she’s thinking—and he’s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head.  She doesn’t know who he really is—or what he is.  Damen equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies.

Rated 4 out of 5
Ever is a peculiar girl she doesn't seem to be to happy with the fact she survived a tragic car accident.  Surviving came with a catch though now she can see people's auras and hear there thoughts. Her world is very loud, and she doesn't just dress in baggy clothes because she's depressed human contact isn't her thing since she can hear everyone all the time. She has a awkward group of friends Miles and Haven. Miles the flamboyant fun one and Haven the goth. Ever is still in contact with her snarky little sister Riley who died in the crash but thats a secret. Ever meets Damen a dark mysterious boy who brings her nothing but trouble. I liked this book, but it was kind of long. I have read longer but I found myself wanting to get to the end a little sooner than I did. I 'm excited about reading the second book. Evermore was a pretty fun read I recommend it. I wasn't a huge fan of Haven, but I love Miles and Riley.  I'm a BIG fan of Damen he is pretty dreamy ^_^ ...lol.  I am actually fascinated by Ava. I want to try more books by Alyson Noel and am defintly going to continue reading this series.

I found a post about a Riley spin off book at Book Crazy

This book was part of The YA Challenge hosted by J.Kaye.

Yeah, I think I felt the same about wanting it to end sooner, though I liked it and rated it 4 our of 5, too. Great review. Smooth.

Thanks for the great review of this book. I have seen the book but just wasn't sure if I wanted to get it. I may have to get it at some point anyway.

Thank you again!
