Dead Girls Dance (Morganville 2)

Author-Rachel Caine
Pages-238

Description Courtesy of Goodreads.
Claire has her share of challenges. Like being a genius in a school that favors beauty over brains; homicidal girls in her dorm, and finding out that her college town is overrun with the living dead. On the up side, she has a new boyfriend with a vampire-hunting dad. But when a local fraternity throws the Dead Girls' Dance, hell is really going to break loose.

Rated 4 on a scale of 1-5
I enjoyed this book it was really great. It was packed full of action and I loved that. I am finding that I'm a little more curios about everyone. Shane's biker dad coming into play was severely intense to say the least. It to me makes Shane a deeper character. I mean you really get to see what kind of life Shane led after he left Morganville. I completely understand why Shane's dad feels the way he does even if he is a little bit insane. I mean most people would want to stake a bunch of undead folks. I mean granted we relate to these people in the book but from one point of view they burned his daughter to a crisp. He has gone off the handle but its understandable. I mean he still shouldn't have done that to Micheal thats awful. Also the way Eve reacts to the drama with Micheal that brought tears to my eyes. Also Richard Morrel the cop he is becoming a major player kind of in my eyes. Still hating on Monica Morrel that is for sure she has not started to grow on me in the least. I think this was a strong second book I have already finished the third however and I liked it a lot more. Lots of action going on in this book also some pretty intense moments. The book certainly kept me on the edge of my seat.

Glad you liked it! This book did make me more curious about the characters and what happens to them. That's why I finished the whole series in two days! I couldn't pu them down.
