My Dad is reading The Mortal Instruments :)

I'm so excited right now granted I'm 20 years old and this is quite ridiculous for me to be excited about, but I have absolutely never claimed to be normal. My Dad has decided he wants to bond with me he doesn't think we have enough in common or something, so he is reading The Mortal Instruments series, and he is on City of Ashes  already. I totally shouldn't be suprised he read Twilight and the entire Sookie Stackhouse Series oh and Harry Potter. No idea why the man thinks we have nothing in common I think we have more in common than normal folks. Plus as if that isn't enough his prison guard buddies have now read Twilight and Sookie. My dad is a pretty manly guy, but he has not been able to put down City of Ashes and he loved  City of Bones.  Who would have thought the big old prison guard would love my kind of books :)

That is so freakin awesome!! My dad is reading my book right now and I'm so freaked out by the explicit sex scenes he's reading that I have placed a BAN on him discussing those scenes to me.

I have read and loved the other books you mentioned, so I'll have to give this series a go as well. Please tell me it's not another young adult angst filled Twilight though (not that it wasn't readable and intriguing, just not my normal first pick).

This is great! I never would have thought of the prison guards reading Twilight though.

Glad to here he shares such great taste in books with ya.

I would love if someone in the family would read the same books as me.

Hope he keeps having fun with them.

LOL...I completely understand. I lent mine to my 16 year old sister in law for her to read....Turns out my Father in Law is reading them too. I had a good giggle about that one.

Hi Everyone!

I've been trying to figure out a good place to begin with the Acai free trial an was just wanting to know if someone had some thoughts on whether or not the stuff works to lose weight? So far here's the only article I've been able to read that seemed realistic for the goals I have. Opinions?
