North and South

Well this hiatus was rather short, I just can' t stay away its a proven fact. My Grandpa fell and broke his back so I'm going to take care of him for a while. That is the only thing going on right now that is new, oh and I got bangs.  Anyway yesterday to pass some time I watched North and South, a lot of people have been talking about it, and I like Robin Hood the TV series, and Richard Armitage. I can say I was totally not disappointed, it was so beautifully done. The acting was incredible, and I was sucked in, it did not feel like a multiple episode event. I mean when you think about the plot, you can see how someone might think it could be boring, but it truly was not. The entire working class North and slow moving South, well it fits with England just like it dose with the US. I could relate to John and Margaret, and wanted nothing more than for them to be together. Even though Margaret was a union sympathizer to a degree and John was a cotton mill owner, it was destined.  At the end of each episode I was on the edge of my seat. If you haven't seen this yet, I really recommend you watch it, Netflix has it streaming live all the time.

YES! So glad you enjoyed it. I agree, feels like one long story rather than broken up episodes. Favorite scene??

Angie-My favorite scene was when the angry union mob came to John's house and Margaret ran outside with him, and the rock hit her in the head. Just the look on John's face and everyone else's reaction. Then when she tells John she was asking his mother information about her docotor, and he gets this stunned look of worry, and asks if she is sick, you can totally tell from that moment he has true feelings for Margaret.

Stella-I love him too, it was so good, I love BBC mini series so much but I think this one is my favorite.
