Summer Reading Challenge Activity #10

This is number 10 in the Summer Break Reading Challenge activity we had to create a cover by picking a random name and random verb then the picture that came up when we typed the verb in FlickrCC. Then we were told to come up with a summary.

Ann Noble is living in a post apocalyptic city. She has no family left to speak of, however she has one friend Evelyn, the two of them are like sisters. Until one day Evelyn doesn't come home from work. Ann searches high and low for her, but turns up empty handed. She enlists the help of the local mob boss, and he delegates the job to his spoiled son Jax. Ann and Jax are like oil and water, the two of them fall down a rabbit hole of secrets and betrayal. Will these opposites put aside their differences long enough to save Evelyn, or will Ann be left alone in the damaged world.

Sounds very interesting. I like the colout choise of your cover too. The pink lettering picks up the pink in her hood really well.

I think your story fits "design" very well. Someone is pulling strings somewhere in this plot. Very nice!
